About the Role
We are hiring a Quality Analyst, Product Experience to help us ship a fast-moving AI video product with fewer bugs, clearer user flows, and stronger release quality. This is not a basic checklist-only QA role. You will test whether features work, but more importantly, whether users can understand them, complete them, and trust the product. Our product changes quickly. Developers ship fast. Your role is to protect the final user experience before anything reaches production.
Key Responsibilities
- Test new features across the full user journey: onboarding, story generation, script flow, avatar/context/product inputs, free vs paid user states, storyboard approval, video generation flow, warnings, modals, CTAs, and error states
- Identify both functional bugs and user experience issues — not just whether a feature works, but whether users can understand and complete it
- Review the product for clear communication: spelling and grammar, modal titles, CTAs, warning visibility, visual hierarchy, and confusing labels
- Perform exploratory and monkey testing with random scripts, incomplete prompts, unusual user actions, repeated clicks, back/refresh flows, and mobile vs desktop views
- Own release signoff: verify core flow, edge cases, copy quality, warning visibility, mobile layout, and bug severity before features go live
- Write clear and actionable bug reports with issue summary, steps to reproduce, screenshots or recordings, expected vs actual behavior, severity, and user impact
- Work closely with developers, product, and design to ensure releases are not blocked unnecessarily but also not shipped carelessly
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of QA or product testing experience
- Strong attention to detail and good written English
- Ability to test without detailed hand-holding and independently find UI, copy, and user-flow issues
- Comfort with fast product releases and ability to write clear, structured bug reports
- Basic understanding of web and mobile product flows
- Willingness to perform exploratory and monkey testing
- Experience testing SaaS, AI tools, creator tools, or marketing products is a plus
- Basic knowledge of browser console and network tab is a plus
- Exposure to tools like Jira, Linear, ClickUp, or Notion is a plus
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools like Playwright or Cypress is a plus
- Any Graduate
