As our core finance and accounting hire, you will have unparalleled ownership over all financial operations, from day-to-day transactions to critical statutory compliance. You will work directly with the CEO/CFO to ensure our financial health, build scalable processes, and pave the way for us to scale 10x. Key Responsibilities

• Billing & Receivables: Manage the complete order-to-cash cycle, including creating estimates, sales orders, and generating timely invoices for clients.
• Core Accounting: Maintain accurate, day-to-day accounting entries in our software (e.g., Tally/Zoho), covering all payables, receivables, invoices, and expenses.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and match our records.
• Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS): Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately and on time.
• Manage all TDS compliance, including calculation, deposit, and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
• Payroll Compliance: Oversee monthly payroll compliance, including the timely filing and payment of EPFO and ESIC.
• Taxation & Audits: Assist with the Balance sheet and PnL (Profit and Loss) statement preparation and filing of the company's annual Income Tax Return (ITR).
• Prepare all necessary documentation and reports for statutory and internal audits, and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting and finance role.
• Must have practical, end-to-end experience with GST filing, TDS filing, and EPFO/ESIC filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime or Zoho Books is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, receivables, and payables management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field. (CA Inter is a strong plus).
